Frequency - Your Personal Video Aggregator

We’re glad to introduce the winner of our Weekly Free App Poll - meet Frequency  - your personal video service that puts the entire world of web video at your fingertips. The app creates personalized video channels for you from your favorite sources – news, music, entertainment, technology and sports – on top of everything your friends are sharing on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

The Frequency app is built to take full advantage of the iPad's unique gesture interface. Despite following your favorite channels and trending topics, watching videos your friends are posting via social networks and saving the videos in order to watch them later, the app allows you to share the videos on Facebook and Twitter too. Frequency  delivers it all in real-time, keeping you up-to-date on everything you’re interested in.

On top of what we’ve already mentioned above, here are some of the additional features the app allows you to do:

• Watch 1,000 channels of online video -- even follow your favorite blog as its own video stream;
• Stay up to the minute on topics that are trending right now;
• Get every video your friends post on Facebook and Twitter;
• Quickly access anything you are following in your personalized Tuner;
• View a stream of video from all your channels in Your Highlights;
• Go full screen or use AirPlay to watch on your TV.

For those already having a Frequency.com account, the syncs everything automatically between the iPad and the web, with no additional actions required. This means that once you login on the iPad with the website account, everything you¹re following will be there for you.

The update to the latest 1.2.1 version brought number of improvements and bug fixes comprising the one that caused issues with Vimeo video playback. New channels have been added, including YouTube Trends, Boing Boing and 100s more. You are also allowed to watch your friend's favorite videos by following them on Frequency.com and tapping "Frequency Friends" on the iPad.

Frequency is available in the Apple App Store  for free and requires OS 4.3 or later to be fully functional.
