The first trailer of highly anticipated Steve Jobs biopic called “Jobs” has been aired today, ahead the August’s release of the movie. The director is Joshua Michael Stern, and as we’ve already reported, it’s Ashton Kutcher starring as Steve Jobs, while Josh Gad stars as Woz.
The trailer has caused controversial opinion and received early mixed reviews, one of which was made by Steve Wozniak himself, dismissing the movie as “awful and atrocious” after reading an early version of its script. Here’s what he commented:
“I’m not even sure what it’s getting at. The personalities are very wrong although mine is closer … Don’t forget that my purpose was inspired by the values of the Homebrew Computer Club along with the ideas of the value of such machines and Steve J. wasn’t around and didn’t attend the club so he was the one learning about such impact of the future.”
