Not that there’s much left to unwrap before Apple unveils its iPhone 5S and the rumored 5C in less than a month. However the company has now issued iOS 7 beta 6, which will likely be its final iOS 7 beta version. Below you’ll find some major changes coming with the sixth beta update of Apple’s latest mobile OS.
The major bug improved is an “issue with iTunes in the Cloud, where some purchases may download or play unexpected items.” The thing to note is that the update file is only 13.5 MB, and it’s rare for Apple to seed beta updates to devs on a Thursday evening so it seems the bug was important enough to fix fairly quickly. There is a bundle of tips as well - for those who have any devices running previous versions of iOS 7 beta, they should:
• Install the ResetMusicAndVideosLibraries configuration profile from the iOS Dev Center.
• From Settings > Music, tap the Reset Media Library button.
• Restart the device.
Apple has also provided the long change log, which some other improvements the iOS 7 beta 6 brought. You can download the update OTA as long as you have the developer account and try it! Do not hesitate to share your impressions in the comments below.
