It turns out that Jobs' health condition is worse than it seemed initially. At least, in the e-mail dated Jan 5, Jobs denied reports that he was in declining health. However, today, Jobs sent an email to Apple employees asserting that "during the past week I have learned that my health-related issues are more complex than I originally thought." Apple COO Tim Cook will be taking over Apple's day-to-day operations while Jobs is absent. However, Jobs plans to "remain involved in major strategic decisions."
Steve Jobs is a living legend and one of the greatest CEOs of all time. Hopefully, Jobs will get well soon and will surprise us with new revolutionary products in the years to come.
