Google Releases YouTube App For iPhone and iPod Touch

With YouTube links no longer invoking the YouTube app in iOS 6 Beta 3, and with the iOS 6 Beta 4  completely ditching the app from the system, Google has now released an all-new YouTube app for the iPhone and iPod touch. At a quick glance, the new YouTube app seems to be fast and responsive, and completely native, sharing the same design language as the Google + app on iOS.

Below you’ll find the list of app features:

Enjoy YouTube’s vast video catalog, including official music videos;
Find videos and channels more easily with voice search and query autocomplete;
Subscribe to channels and instantly access your subscriptions with the channel guide UI;
Read comments, browse related videos, enable subtitles and more - all while watching;
Easy video sharing to Google+, E-mail, Facebook and Twitter.

The app is available in Apple App Store for free in 50 + languages and requires iOS 4.3 or later to be functional. An optimized version of the YouTube app for the iPad is in works and is expected to hit the App Store in the coming months, so stay tuned for more details.
