Pixar Names Part Of Its Headquarters After Steve Jobs

According to the recent report by PixarTimes, the company honored Steve Jobs’s name with “more permanent home on Pixar’s campus – above the main entrance to the studio’s main building”. Despite the fact that Steve is mainly associated with Apple, his role in the creation of Pixar should not be ignored. And extract from the report reads:”… He financed the work at the studio long before it became profitable, pouring millions of his own money into keeping Pixar afloat because he believed in the work of the employees. After his death last year, some wondered how the animation studio would honor him.”

Here’s the tweet from Pixar’s employee, sharing the image of the building named after Steve Jobs:

The image confirms this is the main building that Steve Jobs himself played a major role in designing, as the outline of Sulley can be clearly seen. For those unaware, the building was designed the way that it leads to accidental collaboration, which may be avoided if everyone was stuck in their individual offices.

Being the perfect way to honor the legacy of Steve Jobs, his name above the main building is a meaningful representation of his influence on the famed building, as well as it reminds walkers and building guests about Steve’s importance to the formation of the studio.
